Samanta Lopez, B.Sc. (Hons)
Instructor Therapist
Samanta Lopez is a passionate Instructor Therapist at Launch dedicated to implementing effective, evidence-based, and individualised behaviour analytic intervention strategies of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to increase desired behaviours and teach new skills. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology and Health Studies from the University of Toronto and a Behaviour Science Technician Postgraduate Diploma from George Brown College. She plans to pursue a Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis to become a BCBA.
Samanta has extensive volunteer experience with children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Toronto Rehabilitation Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital. She has honed her application of skill acquisition and behavioural improvement plans through her internships at George Brown College. In these roles, she performed ABA under supervision and is excited to have the opportunity to implement and expand her knowledge of ABA techniques to positively impact the quality of life for children. In her spare time, Samanta enjoys hiking, playing piano, and dancing Argentine Tango and Salsa.
