Be BOLD! The DNA-V Model for Building Resilience, Flexibility, and Self-Esteem
DNA-V is an evidence-based program that teaches kids effective strategies for managing challenges, stress, and change , and has been shown to be effective for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The goal of DNA-V is to help participants become more flexible in their thinking and behaviour. That means they can better handle tough situations, bounce back from problems, and make choices that match their values and what’s important to them.
By learning how to use these skills, kids can be better equipped to deal with difficult emotions and situations, make more helpful choices, and have greater self-confidence.
